GREEN+ PROJECT
Since 2019 to 2023, GHI has implemented the project entitled “Socio-economic Empowerment of Vulnerable Children and Youth and their Families with Special Focus on Green Economy (GREEN+ PROJECT) with support from SOS Children’s Villages and funding from Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS
100 beneficiaries (80 females – both women and girls – & 20 male) are training in digital skills at the GHI Digital Hub located at Nkumba, Katabi Town Council – with support from SOS Children’s Villages. The project’s life span is 1 year and the participants are trained in Internet, social media usage, MS Office, Research and Digital content creation among others.
GROW EQUAL PROJECT
Currently, GHI is implementing the Grow Equal Project (2024-2027) in Nakawuka and Nsaggu Wards - Kajjansi Town Council, with support from SOS Children’s Villages and funding from Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC). The project targets 10580 marginalized women, men, girls and boys, of which, 15% with disabilities are direct beneficiaries.
